 The following are quick highlights of the harm inflicted upon former federal airline safety inspector Captain Rodney Stich. The attacks started after his assignment to halt the corruption related to a series of airline disasters. Starting in the 1960s, while aviation crashes and near-crashes were a continuing event, FAA airline safety inspector Rodney Stich was given the assignment to halt the massive aviation safety corruption in the Denver FAA office and at United Airlines. After documenting the corruption and trying to carry out his assignment, he came under attacks by politically-motivated FAA management. United Airlines personnel threatened to have him removed—as they claimed they had done with another FAA inspector. These tactics continued the resulting series of crashed and deaths, and subverted the life-and-death intent of the assignment given to Stich.

The specter of the consequences motivated Stich to take actions never before taken, seeking to halt the corruption and the crashes and deaths that would continue to occur.

These few examples of the horrors associated with airline disasters enabled to occur by documented corruption withheld from the American people. The standard culture of cover-ups in the United States enabled the corruption, cover-ups, to mutate into different areas. In the aviation area, although the continuing series of airline disasters eventually came to a halt for other reasons, the culture continued, and enabled to occur a number of easily preventable airline disasters. International airline captain after the end of World War II, for an airline that three  articles in the Saturday Evening Post magazine called, "The Daring Young Men of Transocean Airlines." (Various flying included flying Captain for Japan Airlines  and having as copilots former wartime Japanese Navy Pilots; flying Muslim pilgrims to the holy city of Mecca and Medina; caught in a CIA-engineered revolution in Iran in 1953; and much more.

Federal Airline Safety Inspector

In 1961, as airline disasters were a common event, sometimes occurring every few months, he was hired by the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA). One of those airline disasters set a world record, and was a United Airlines DC-8 that crashed into the Brooklyn section of New York City. That horrific aviation disasters occurred on December 16, 1960. Corruption enabled that disaster to occur, and ironically, 40 years later, New York City experienced another world record experienced another and even more horrific world record aviation event: September 11, 2001. Those were also enabled by corruption.
