Versus Secret Power Oligarchy in United States
You've heard of corruption-exposing and document-exposing whistleblowers. There is one corruption-exposing and tragedy-related whistleblower who is also a corruption-fighting whistleblower, and the granddaddy of both. His corruption-fighting whistleblower activities started shortly after he was given the official assignment to correct the corruption during the days long ago when airline crashes in the United States were a routine event, sometimes occurring every few months.
In 1963, midlevel FAA management (below the political high-level management) asked that highly-experience aviation safety inspector to transfer to the Denver FAA offices, correct and halt the agency-wide knowledge of the corrupt aviation safety practices at United Airlines and within the Federal Aviation Agency, that resulted in a series of horrific airline crashes, and those that followed.
Encountering the standard high-level political corruption that is standard in the U.S. government, which blocked carrying out that life-or-death assignment, he started on the first of many years of not only exposing the corruption, but also fighting it. The following are the highlights of those fights, which continues to this day, with his major target being the corruption, sometimes murderous, and sometimes enabling the worst tragedies sin the nation's history: the people and culture in the U.S. Department of Justice.
Fighting to Halt the Corruption-Resulting
1965 Through Today
Stich took actions that were never taken before by any government inspector in the FAA—or in any area of government. He used the law in such a manner that he acted similar to an independent prosecutor—an act that would end his government career.
The court-like proceedings in 1965 extended over several months—during which three other horrific airline disasters occurred, each one due to the same safety problems and retaliation that Stich had repeatedly reported in writing, and for which he suffered retaliation (aviation disasters are accompanied by horrendous horror, followed by years of personal tragedies by loved ones left behind).
Upon the end of the proceedings, he filed a closing brief that highlighted the many safety violations related to several recent crashes. In that closing brief, he warned that a cover-up would continue the misconduct, the culture, and the crashes. Each of these safety violations and crashes occurred. Three if the crashes occurred during the proceedings, with heavy loss of life. Each of the crashes were caused by the exact safety problems and safety and criminal violations that Stich had repeatedl8y reported in writing—and for which he suffered retaliation.
The administrative hearing officer, William Jennings, an attorney on the staff of the FAA Administrator, covered up and claimed there were no problems with safety, despite three additional crashes occurring during the proceedings.
Following the cover-ups, and the continuation of aviation disasters, the head of the FAA’s Sky Marshal’s program encouraged Stich to send a report to the FAA administrator, and that he said he would co-sign the report. Decades of Congressional Blocks (i.e., Obstruction of Justice.)
Stich filed complaints and provided information on the corruption and the resulting tragedies with members of Congress, starting in 1965, and continued through to 2013. The only reaction to his numerous complaints in 1965 were Congress terminated the Federal Aviation Agency in 1967, replacing it with the Federal Aviation Administration, under the supervision of the newly created Department of Transportation—using the same personnel; and terminated the Civil Aeronautics Board in 1967 and replacing it with the National Transportation Safety Board (using the same personnel and same culture in both of these changes).
DOJ Grand Jury Block
Appearing before a Denver federal grand jury. Reports to various divisions of the U.S. Department of Justice were repeatedly blocked. In 1966, circumventing the blocks by Department of Justice personnel, he appeared before the federal grand jury in Denver—controlled by the same U.S. Attorney that blocked earlier reports.
Stich was forced to leave government after the cover-up, and fought the corruption in government from outside the government. Motivated and concerned about the increasing aviation disasters that continued at a continual pace for many years, he took other actions fighting the corruption.
Public Via Not-for-Profit Books and
Hundreds of Radio and TV Appearances
Stich appealed to the public with the first of his not-for-profit books and hundreds of radio and TV appearances, starting in 1978. The first book was Unfriendly Skies, and had four revisions, after which it was titled, History of Aviation Disasters: 1950 to 9/11. The publicity sounding these activities motivated dozens of other former government personnel and insiders to provide Stich with insider information on many other areas of corruption in covert and overt operations, along with corruption that Stich discovered from fighting the corruption and perpetrators. These people had key positions in such government departments as the CIA, DEA, FBI, Customs, FAA, former drug smugglers, and former Mafia figures.
Continuing His Fight Through the Federal Courts:
Expanding the Corruption and Tragedy Enablers
Stich filed legal papers in federal court to report the federal crimes that he and his increasing number of other insiders had discovered. The authority—and requirement for this—were the federal crime reporting requirements, especially federal criminal statute, Title 18 U.S.C. § 4. Federal judges have a mandatory duty to receive information on federal crimes from anyone. Refusal to receive such information would be a criminal act, obstruction of justice, made worse by the fatal consequences of the federal crimes Stich was reporting. These initial filings in the federal courts, encountering blocks by federal judges, included:
First action. Stich filed a federal lawsuit against the
Administration. Department of Justice personnel filed motions to bar
the court from hearing the action.
Federal lawsuit against the NTSB, for covering up material evidence related to the crash of a PSA airline into the city of San Diego, the nation's worst aviation disaster at that time—taking the record from United Airlines DC-8 crash into New York City. Both of these great airline disasters were enabled to occur by information withheld from the official government report prepared by the Civil Aeronautics Board and its replacement in 1967 by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
Federal lawsuit filed in Reno during series of al Qaeda attacks, reporting the corruption making the attacks possible.
Federal lawsuit filed in New York City immediately after the 9/11 airliner hijackings, reporting much of the corruption that made the attacks successful. Federal judges Michael Mukasey (and later U.S. Attorney General) blocked the filing, aiding and abetting the corrupt activities responsible for the worst series of terrorist attacks in the nation's history, further followed by the judges in the Court of Appeals in New York.
Federal lawsuit filed in the federal courts at Washington, DC, reporting the same corruption that insured the success of the al Qaeda attacks, followed by the same cover-ups and consequences.
Documented Complicity of Justices of U.S. Supreme Court
Among the many people and groups that were informed over a period of 40 years of the crimes against the United States by key people in government, and the continuing consequences of such crimes, were the Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court. They were repeatedly notified by corruption-fighting whistleblower, Rodney Stich, by legal filings and letters directly to the Justices. They had the additional responsibility under the crime reporting statute to receive the information, in addition to acting on it. During that entire period, only one Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court showed any reaction. That was the unprecedented personal letter, and unprecedented apology, by Justice Byron White, upon receiving a 1991 emergency petition from Stich.

Starting in mid-1980s: Key CIA Personnel Started Providing Information on Major National Political Scandals.
In the mid-1980s, key CIA and other insiders started providing Stich with information and evidence of corruption involving covert political activities. These included:
October Surprise, the follow-up to the CIA overthrow of the democratically-elected government in Iran (while Stich was an airline captain in Iran the morning of the revolution); the 1979 Islamic revolution which was the basis for the movie, Argo; and was a scheme to be sure that President Jimmy Carter not be reelected President of the United States. Stich's primary CIA source for this information was involved and present at several of the key meetings, including George H.W. Bush (Sr.)
Massive CIA involvement in drug smuggling with military logistic support—surely known by Department of Justice personnel and the 16 U.S. intelligence agencies. (And direct involvement by FBI, such as the many reports of Miami FBI agent Terry Nelson).
FBI-DOJ personnel involved in the prosecution involving the bombing of Pan Am Flight103 over Lockerbie, that included covering up and protecting the actual guilty parties and planting sham evidence to support charging two innocent Libyans and blaming Libya.

Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) first supported the rise of Adolf Hitler, and then upon learning the truth, and objecting, he was imprisoned. He wrote a poem about the state of denial of Germans about what Hitler was doing. Probably no better example could be shown than what has been done to the American people, in their name, while they ignored the outrages.
The first step is to become informed. And with the vast cover-ups, disinformation, and blatant lying by U.S. politicians, media personnel, and political pundits, this requires a little effort. In searching for information, don't be misled by wild conspiracy theories, and go where facts can be found, including courageous (and foolish) insiders who speak out in defense of the country.
Sadly, fewer people read such books (preferring trivia reading), rarely read newspapers (which is one small step to becoming informed). Therefore, the future is bleak, made possible by the corruption detailed here and in the books, the cover-ups, and the public's indifference to their responsibilities.
Everyone, and this includes YOU, should at the very least, give this and related sites constant publicity. U.S. leaders have become so corrupt, and so implicated in a series of great and catastrophic events, and medical corporations and media personnel and pundits, equally corrupt by cover-ups and disinformation. Ignore your obligations, and you join the enablers!
