The following were some of the pictures taken by Captain Rodney Stich when he was temporarily assigned from his main airline, Transocean Airlines, to Japan Airlines. Transocean started Japan Airlines in 1952, furnishing a dozen Martin 202 aircraft and captains, with Japan Airlines furnishing the copilots, maintenance and other ground support.
