<body> Lying to the Gullible Americans, And the Resulting Tragedies The purpose of this site is to bring forth a different perspective than what is being discussed by mainstream media personnel, pundits, commentators, and shills. At this location no particular position is being taken other than to present another view. Politicians Stating Communism Threatened the U.S. First it was communism, and U.S. politicians stated that countries preferring the communist form of government were a danger to the United States, thereby fueling the military, industrial complex. Today, communist countries--our supposed enemies--are providing the finances that are keeping the United States from entering a financial depression. Politicians Sending U.S. Troops to Die in Korea 38,000 American GIs died and many more suffered. North and South Korea would probably be united today if U.S. politicians didn't beat the war drums and the communist bugaboo. Politicians Sending Troops to Die in Vietnam 58,000 American GIs died and many more suffered. Serial lying kept the war going for years, until the losses became so great that the Americans had to beat a humiliating defeat. Today, Vietnam is still operates under a communist form of government and the country is booming. Where was the threat? White House politicians based its claims on invading Vietnam on the argument that the United States could not allow the people to choose the communist form of government. This argument led to 58,000 Americans killed; over 200,000 wounded; the Phoenix Program that murdered almost 80,000 Vietnamese, plus the hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese killed by U.S. troops. Today, communist countries provide much of the debt for the United States. Politicians stating Grenada Had to be Invaded Then, the U.S. Had to Topple the Nicaraguan government. In doing this, the Reagan-Bush administration violated numerous laws, provided money and arms to rebels fighting the Nicaraguan government, and engaged in widespread drug smuggling into the United States to help fund the efforts--and to enrich those who played a role. Politicians Stating Cuba Had to Invade There greatest sin: toppling the corrupt puppet relied upon by the United States, and throwing out U.S. mobsters with ties to the CIA. For this, they were invaded, numerous plans was considered, or carried out, trying to kill Fidel Castro. Gullible Americans fell for the line, hook, line, and sinker! Politicians Stating Iraq Had to be Invaded Remember Iraq: On the basis of serial lying and the shills covering up for the lying, over 100,000 Iraqi men, women, children, and infants have been killed; a country that was absolutely no threat to the United States was invaded by the world's most powerful military; unprecedented explosion of people hating Americans; unprecedented growth of "terrorists" wanting to kill Americans; money that would have paid for social security and other social programs used instead for the invasion of Iraq that will have consequences far beyond the imagination of the average person. Anyone with access to the Internet had access to reliable reports showing that President Bush and his cabinet, and their shills in the media, were repeatedly lying about Iraq. Politicians Stating Iran had to be Invaded Initial claims for invading Iran was that Iran was developing nuclear power plant. A few thoughts on Iran and its nuclear development: Iran is a sovereign nation, and has the right to develop nuclear power plants--or nuclear weapons, as other nations have exercised. Iran could not possibly be any threat to the United States. If, for argument, it had one or several nuclear missiles, it would not be so stupid as to attack the United States, and risk being wiped off the map with the thousands of missiles in the U.S. arsenal. Israel, for instance, has reportedly over 200 nuclear missiles, produced partly with funding by the United States through the efforts of U.S. politicians. Israel has invaded and occupied invaded territory for over 30 years. Iran has never invaded a foreign country. Iran was the victim of a revolution in 1953 that was brought about by the CIA and Washington politicians. The United States has thousands of nuclear bombs and nuclear missiles, and is developing other forms of nuclear weapons. Other countries around Iran have nuclear missiles, including Israel, Pakistan, India. Politicians Setting the Stage for the Nation's Worst Financial Crisis Politicians, receiving bribes from the financial sector, repealed protective laws and enacted legislation that knowingly resulted in huge financial losses for the United States. The resulting harm to the United States, and to its people, could not have occurred if the culture of corruption and cover-ups did not exist throughout the government and non-government sectors of the United States. Direct Harm Upon the American People The lying and deception that accompanied the invasions that resulted in hundreds of thousands of American GIs injured, maimed, and killed, were indirect harm. But there are many forms of corruption by those who constitute a literal secret government includes, for instance: Drug smuggling into the United States by people associated with the CIA and other government entities. Seizing of people's assets without any charges. Seizing of people's assets when they naively exercise the statutory protections of Chapter 11. False charges and perjured testimony that puts thousands of innocent people into prison. False charges and prison for those government agents who seek to report corruption in government offices. Steal a hamburger and sentence to life in prison. Three strike law. Benefiting from putting people in prison, in California, life in prison for something as minor as stealing a hamburger, are politicians making themselves look good to their gullible electorate; prosecutors who gain prestige and higher pay for convictions; prison guards; contractors constructing prisons; and those who provide support for prisons. The inbred culture created the conditions that enabled four groups of terrorists to easily hijack four airliners within a few hours of each other and kill nearly 3,000 people. These included for instance victims of the: Department of Justice prosecutorial misconduct, people being falsely charges with crimes in order to improve the prosecutors' career. The explosion of violent crime related to drug smuggling into the United States, in which CIA assets were major players. Series of financial frauds appearing every few years, with the latest housing and financial implosions surfacing in 2008. Seizure of assets from innocent people. And many other forms.
