Iraq Played no Role in the 9/11 Hijackings Lying U.S. politicians, led by President George Bush (Jr.) initially justified the invasion that would kill several hundred thousand Iraqis on the lie that Iraq was involved in the September 11, 2001, al Qaeda hijackings. When this lie was exposed, then a series of other lies were made to what may be the most gullible people min any modern nation today. A simple search of the Internet, or reading United Nations reports, would have shown the mostly unread public that they were being taken for fools by their leaders. If they had done even the most basic check, they would have learned than the primary people and groups whose misconduct enabled the easy hijackings of four airliners were not in Iraq or Afghanistan, but among key people in control of major government functions in the United States. Thoughts on Iraq Under Saddam Hussein, And How His Removal Affected America To someone with an unusual and lengthy background in international and government affairs, and extensive contact with covert intelligence sources, the overwhelming amount of political lies and corruption that repeatedly inflicts great harm−including tens of thousands of deaths−is blatantly obvious. This page, and others in this 1000-plus page Internet site provides inside information to those who are sophisticated enough, and care enough, to know. A few basic facts are stated here, followed by reference to more detailed pages. These show how the American people had, again, been lied to at great financial and personal cost, including deaths. White House politicians, through the CIA and others, and especially during the 1980s Reagan-Bush administrations. had been secretly funding and arming Iraq, until shortly before Iraq invaded Kuwait and started a series of military actions by the United States against Iraq. (Details in the books, Defrauding America and Iraq, Lies, Blowback, and Consequences, available from amazon.com) The U.S. Ambassador to Iraq gave Saddam Hussein assurance that it had no interest in Iraq's invasion of Kuwait. After the hijackings of four airliners by terrorists, President George Bush used that attack to apply most of the military action not on the country where the terrorists were based, but on a country that fought the terrorists: Iraq. Among the serial lying that the president of the United States and his shills used to prep the American public to support invading Iraq were the following: Iraq was behind the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, including weapons of mass destruction, including poisonous chemicals, and aircraft to deliver the chemicals to the United States. Iraq was harboring terrorists. Iraq was obtaining material to develop nuclear weapons. Iraq was a threat to the United States that could result in a catastrophic nuclear explosion on U.S. cities. Conditions While Saddam Hussein Was in Control of Iraq Although Iraq’s President, Saddam Hussein, was brutal to those who sought to bring down the government and his reign, there were, according to people who lived in Iraq and provided this information, certain positives existed under his control of Iraq. To put things in perspective, here are a few facts of life about conditions under the reign of Saddam Hussein and conditions after President Bush initiated the war against the Iraqi people. The terrorist group, al Qaeda, was being effectively prevented from operating in Iraq, and Iraq was a block to the expansion of al Qaeda. (Now, Iraq is a breeding and training ground for al Qaeda and a host of other groups wanting to kill Americans.) Very little crime in Iraq. People in Iraq stated that there was very little crime and that they could safely walk the streets late at night. (Today, dozens of bodies, many decapitated, are found on the streets.) Compare this with the thousands of people murdered every year in the United States; the thousands of gang murders; the hundreds of innocent people murdered by police; the killing of people in local jails, such as the murder of overnight detainees at the Harrison County Jail in Mississippi; and other brutal criminal acts; compounded by the cover-ups of these matters by virtually every check and balance. Iraq was one of the most westernized countries in the Middle East, where such modernity was sadly absent. (Today, it is becoming under the control of hostile religious fanatics.) Iraq was a mostly secular form of government, with the Sunnis and Shiites living and working side-by-side and inter-marrying. (Today, ethnic clearing is well under way, with thousands of religious killings.) Iraq, under the leadership of Saddam Hussein, provided more protection to American interests than Iraq after his removal by President Bush’s decision to start a war that it is now inextricably involved. (This is not to overlook Saddam Hussein’s negative characteristics, but an overall realistic view.) Decades of Support and Funding for Iraq By U.S. Politicians It was the United States, through the CIA, in 1963, that supported a coup to install the Baath Party in Iraq, which included Saddam Hussein as one of its prominent members. The Baath Party Interior Minister Ali Saleh Saadi once stated: “We came to power on a CIA train.” Note: It is interesting to note that it was the same CIA, acting under President Dwight Eisenhower, that brought about the overthrow of Iran’s premier, Mohammed Mossadegh, and installed the CIA puppet, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. That subversion of Iran’s government by U.S. politicians and the CIA resulted in the 1979 Islamic Revolution and hatred for the United States. That event, authorized by U.S. politicians and carried out by CIA personnel, led by Kermit Roosevelt, the grandson of President Theodore Roosevelt, was one of many covert actions to overthrow the a democratically-elected foreign government. Today, we are still feeling the blowback effects of that meddling. (These events were witnessed by airline captain Rodney Stich who was in Abadan, Iran, the morning the revolution started. He was flying Muslims from throughout the Middle East to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. Prior to the 1953 coup, most Iranians liked Americans, which Stich observed while residing in Abadan and Tehran.) During the 1980s, Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush secretly funded and armed Iraq, and provided intelligence information to Iraq in the war between Iraq and Iran. White House politicians supported the actions taken by Saddam Hussein, including the gassing of Kurds that were siding with Iran during the Iraq-Iran war. Even after learning of this gassing, Donald Rumsfeld met with Saddam Hussein to foster closer relations and continued the funding and arming of Iraq. This assistance ordered by White House politicians made it possible for Iraq to invade Kuwait. The United States gave tacit approval to Iraq to invade Kuwait. During a July 25, 1990, meeting with Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and his Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz, U.S. Ambassador April Glaspie assured Saddam Hussein that the United States had no interest in the dispute with Kuwait. One transcript of that meeting showed Glaspie stating: “We have no opinion on your Arab-Arab conflicts, such as your dispute with Kuwait. Secretary Baker has directed me to emphasize the instruction, first given to Iraq in the 1960s, that the Kuwait issue is not associated with America.” With this assurance by U.S. politicians that the United States had no interest in the dispute with Kuwait, Iraq then invaded Kuwait on August 2, 1990. Some believe that the false assurance was deliberately given at the instruction of President George H.W. Bush to provoke a confrontation with Iraq. The details are revealed in Defrauding America. How Bush White House Politicians Lied to the American People President George W. Bush engaged in serial lying about Iraq possessing weapons of mass destruction, that Iraq had weapons banned by the UN, that Iraq had the means to deliver them to the United States, and that nuclear mushroom clouds would rise from U.S. cities if the United States did not invade Iraq. Details in Iraq, Lies, Cover-Ups, and Consequences. This from a president who claimed to get messages from God! Compare this to the serial lying (not poor intelligence! That President George Bush and his group foisted upon the American people to support the deadly war they were about to start. Almost everything that President Bush and his political group repeatedly stated to the American people were lies. (Media and others cannot use the word, lie, and instead use such euphemistic words as misspoke or misinformation, which assumes that the public is either misinformed or utterly stupid. The truth could be easily found on the Internet, showing that virtually every statement made by Bush to support the invasion of Iraq was a lie. Pathetically, almost everything that Saddam Hussein stated about the absence of any banned weapons was true, and virtually everything said by President Bush was a lie. Says something about the intelligence of the average America. Relying upon the gullibility of the average America, these lies were repeated by White House politicians, by their shills in the media, and by political pundits, and protected by virtually all media people who failed to challenge Bush as he made the lies In response to a speech given by President George W. Bush before a joint session of Congress, and as requested by Bush, legislation was passed, in October 2002, “Joint Resolution to Authorize the Use of United States Armed Forces Against Iraq,” permitting Bush to initiate the war, which he started in March 2003, that has already cost hundreds of thousands of lives. In February 2003, Secretary of State Colin Powell gave a speech to the United Nations repeating the lies, with Richard Armitage sitting behind him, knowing lies were being told. The United Nations ruled that the invasion of Iraq was a violation of the UN Charter, illegal, and called a war crime by others, including the American Association of Jurists. Immediate and Delayed Consequences of the Lying Nearly 4,000 dead American military personnel (as of July 22, 2007), over 20,000 were wounded, including those who lost one or more limbs, those horribly disfigured, and the harm to military families. Nearby 1,000 dead American civilian contractors, plus over 4,000 war casualties. Several hundred thousand Iraqis killed and dismembered by American military actions, including children and babies. Brutalities against Iraqis by U.S. military personnel, including the rape of a 14-year-old girl and then murdering her and her family. A host of other military personnel and veteran groups objected to punishment for these crimes, reflecting even more on the character of the United States. Laying waste to much of Iraq’s structures, that will take generations to replace. The huge financial costs of invading Iraq, which has not yet been felt due to money loaned to the United States (by communist and other governments), can very possibly result in a 1930-like financial depression, accompanied by anarchy and other domestic upheavals; and the absence of any funds for social programs like Medicare and Social Security. Explosive growth of people throughout the world wanting to kill Americans. The many ways that this can and will be accomplished hasn’t even begun, including the detonation of suitcase nuclear bombs placed in different American cities. (The theft of these devices was described in Defrauding America, making it a wonder that they haven’t yet been detonated. Contempt throughout the world for the integrity of the United States, its politicians, and its people. People and Groups Directly and Indirectly Complicit For the Deaths and Endless Consequences President George w. Bush and his White House group, including Colin Powell, Donald Rumsfeld, Condoleezza Rice, Paul Wolfowitz, Karl Rove, and others. Almost every member of the House and Senate that approved legislation to initiate a war that was forewarned to have grave consequences. (Today, the same groups in Congress are sidestepping their role in bringing about the catastrophic consequences. And the American people look to the same people who got the nation into the quagmire to get them out of the Catch 22 quagmire!) The political pundits that shilled and lied for Bush and the other White House politicians, including for instance Russ Limbaugh, Bill O’Reilly, and others. The media people who knew the lies being given to the people by the politicians, and who did not bring this out to the people. The people who supported the start of a war, the people who voted for Bush, especially those who voted for his reelection in 2004. The most prominent being Christians and Republicans. They all knew that thousands of Iraqis, including children and infants, would be killed by the thousands of bombs and missiles sent into residential areas. These people marveled at the massive explosions shown on television, labeled Shock and Awe by media people, showing contempt for the bloody carnage of thousands of innocent people. (They were all innocent of anything that justified starting a war by the world’s most powerful military machine!) The arrogance of Americans is even worse for those who still supported the war after Bush’s lying was revealed, and the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis murdered by American forces, including those who voted for Bush the second time. This conduct is described in The Ugly Americans: 20th & 21st Centuries. Especially supportive of putting the U.S. killing machine in motion in Iraq were America's Christians, the hypocrites and their professed morality that is best represented by the wholesale criminal sexual crimes upon young children by thousands of priests. And by the group of pathetically uninformed people that supported, and still supports, President Bush. The dismal level of practical intelligence of many Americans is further shown by the support of a president who claims he gets messages from God. The almost total ignorance among many Americans about the reasons why so many people want to kill Americans, and the need to address these issues. American People Has A Basic Responsibility To Check the Truth Before Killing Thousands Anyone that had access to the Internet could find countless reliable sources that disputed every one of these charges, including the UN inspection team that spent years combing through a relatively small country and finding no such threat. Even after the United States invaded Iraq and no such weapons were found, President Bush and his shills in the White House, in Congress, in the media, and pundits, continued to repeat these charges. In 2009, eight years later, some of these same liars were repeating the charges. They apparently relied upon the incredible naïveté of the mostly unread and brain-dead segment of Americans. American People Still Ignorant of The Blowback Consequences: Ignorance is Bliss! Initially satisfied and even happy with the killing of Iraqis that they helped bring about, now as the start of the consequences are being felt, most Americans are looking to the same politicians that brought about this deadly mess to figure a way out. Huge financial problems at home, Tens of thousand of severely affected U.S. military personnel, more people wanting to kill Americans than any time in the world's history. And yet, the guilty, such as President Bush, have not been charged with the crimes he and his shills committed, and many Americans still praise the guy! Their thinking is still in the stone age! Guilty Appointing the Guilty To 9/11 Cover-Up Commission To address the serious matter of whether the information given to President Bush and his cabinet, concerning weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, was totally false, or, whether Bush and his team repeatedly lied to the American people to support their determination to inflict war upon Iraq, a commission was formed. The commission was called the Commission on the Intelligence Capabilities of the United States Regarding Weapons of Mass Destruction and composed of nine members. To head the commission—and control it—President Bush appointed federal judge Laurence H. Silberman, someone that former federal agent Rodney Stich had encountered and who blocked me from reporting criminal activities, some of which continued the conditions that enabled terrorists to hijack four airliners on 9/11. The other member heading the commission was former Senator Charles Robb from Virginia. Judge Silberman’s Complicity In Events of September 11, 2001 Starting in 1980, former federal agent Rodney Stich attempted to report to federal judges and Supreme Court justices the criminal activities in government offices that he and a group of other former government agents and other insiders had discovered. The authority for making such reports was the federal crime reporting statute, Title 18 U.S.C. § 4. Federal judges must receive these reports as part of their administrative duties. If they block such reports, they are guilty of a criminal act, even more so than an ordinary person. One of Stich's lawsuits was filed in the federal district court in Washington, D.C. in 1990. That lawsuit sought to report criminal activities that he initially discovered as a federal aviation safety agent that played a major role in a number of fatal airline crashes. (Details in his History of Aviation Disasters: 1950 to 9/11.) The facts stated in the complaint detail the deep-seated culture of misconduct and actual corrupt and criminal activities that caused and enabled to occur a series of fatal airline crashes. Stich also sought to report deep-seated corruption in the FBI and CIA that he had discovered from many other government agents that had learned about these matters during their official duties. Judge Lieberman blocked the reports from being made—a felony per se—and then issued an unlawful and unconstitutional order permanently barring Stich—for the remainder of his life—from filing any papers in any federal district or appellate court. Shifting Blame for Serial Lying by Bush (Jr.) To Lower-Level CIA Intelligence Staff The commission’s report placed most of the blame on the CIA—thereby exonerating President Bush and his staff, who made repeated unqualified statements charging Iraq with numerous violations that were contradicted by reliable sources throughout the United States and overseas. The report protected Ahmad Chalabi who fabricated stories about the weapons of mass destruction that the Bush team eagerly used to support their determined invasion of Iraq. Chalabi admitted publicly in February 2011 that he lied. The Silberman report praised John Negroponte who President Bush had just appointed as director of national intelligence. Negroponte repeatedly covered up for death squads while he was the U.S. ambassador to Honduras between 1981 and 1985. Lieberman made possible the continuation of the conditions that resulted in 3,000 deaths on 9/11. President Bush, also sharing blame for the invasion of Iraq that killed tens of thousands of innocent people, appointed someone that he knew would continue the cover-up. Whether a person is guilty of committing a criminal act by blocking the report of a federal crime is not based upon whether the criminal act seeking to be reported—and being blocked—is actually a federal crime. The cover-up, or blocking the report of the crime, is a crime per se. Another Pathetic Side to the Hoax Many of the American military personnel that were killed or maimed had as enablers their own families who chose to remain illiterate about the conduct of their leaders, and especially those who voted the President George Bush and other politicians that voted for war. Polls indicated that seventy or more percent of the American people thought that the invasion of Iraq was justified, on the basis that: Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. They didn't have; that was a lie by U.S. politicians and their shills. Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait. Iraq used funds and weapons secretly provided by the Reagan and Bush administrations and the U.S. Ambassador assured Saddam Hussein that it had no interest in its dispute with Kuwait. They used chemical weapons on their own people. The Reagan-Bush administration knew this as they funded and armed Iraq. Iraq assisted in the 9/11 attacks. Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks and constituted a block to terrorist activities. Invasion was justified on the basis of converting the nation to a democracy. It took the iron hand of a ruler such as Saddam Hussein to keep the people from killing each other—as occurred after President George H. Bush ordered the invasion, and as continues to occur at this time. Despite all this, most Americans justified the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis killed by the conduct that they supported, including the blowing apart of infants, children, and others by the brave high-flying American bombers, the off-shore ships a safe distance from harm. And in the process, these same Americans unleashed upon themselves the world's greatest number of people wanting to kill Americans. Only in America can such arrogance and stupidity exist! American People Now Moan and Groan As They Face the Consequences of Their Conduct Initially satisfied and even happy with the killing of Iraqis that they helped bring about, now as the start of the consequences are being felt, most Americans are looking to the same politicians that brought about this deadly mess to figure a way out. Remember the puppet-like jumping to their feet with every sentence, or half sentence, as President Bush gave his speech before the joint session of congress. The same politicians displaying this pathetic display of ignorance are being looked to solve the mess. Years of brutal consequences are sure to be suffered by Americans due to the misconduct, the arrogance, of the above people, and the failure of others to become informed and get off their duffs and show some courage and outrage! This same culture has been shown in the many other areas off human tragedies within the United States, inflicted upon the people by the Trojan horse subversive activities of their own leaders. Relying Upon Iraqi Security Forces U.S. politicians have argued that the United States should keep troops in the United States until Iraqi security forces are trained and can take over. The fallacy of that argument is shown by: Iraqi security forces are infiltrated by insurgents who conduct assassination raids upon other groups, tribes, religions, sects. Training would correct this. Training and arming the Iraqi security forces enables the misuse of the forces against other factions, and could pose a threat to the U.S. military providing the arms and the training (similar to the U.S. training and arming of the rebels in Afghanistan during the 1980s, and then having them turn their attention against the United States). Major groups wear Iraqi security force uniforms, and engage in murder and torture. Iraqi security forces at checkpoints engage in kidnap, torture, and murder. Iraqi security forces defect in large numbers every year. Iraqi security forces flee when confronted with a fight. However, the argument of staying in Iraq until Iraqi security forces can take over succeeds in delaying the inevitable and passing the blame to the next administration. The slaughter of U.S. military personnel is an acceptable cost. Sampling of the Horrific Harm Inflicted by Americans All Americans should be forced to see sampling of the consequences of the arrogance and corruption, and the systemic corruption and systemic cover-ups that are outstanding cultures in the United States. See www.defraudingamerica.com/war_pictures.html. Remains of a girl—about the age of the 9-year-old Killed in Tucson in January 2011. In criminal law, people are accomplices, and guilty, if they know of a criminal act and fail to report it to proper authorities and also to take efforts within their capability to halt their continuation. And there are endless numbers of accomplices that are complicit in these crimes and enablers of the consequences. Harm to the American public in non-violent areas. Harm to people of other countries. Harm to the few people in the United States fighting the high-level corruption in a meaningful manner. Harm in general. Suggestion to people outside the United States. Become familiar with the documented systemic corruption in the United States and show the outrage lacking of people in the United States, and: Help expose the endemic corruption that seem to be acceptable to the American people, and maybe wake them up. Help to protect yourselves against the decades of ham inflicted upon people of other countries by the actions of U.S. politicians—supported by much of the American public. U.S. politicians shifting enabling blame from their own corrupt actions that encouraged and enabled four groups of terrorists to simultaneously hijack four airliners, and shift the blame to the people of Iraq and Afghanistan—with the help of a dumbed-down American public that is mostly too lazy to learn the truth. Guilt of the Uninformed, Unread, Indifferent, And Trivia-Obsessed American Public The American public has been victimized for decades by the culture endemic in the United States. they are routinely dumbed down by media people, kept uninformed, and blissfully happy with all forms of trivia, while a literal Trojan horse form of corruption is destroying what was once a great country with a high living standard. Duped in decades of housing and financial frauds, including the latest, and victimized in countless other ways, the unread, uninformed, and easily manipulated American public continues to be blissfully unconcerned, being taken repeatedly for gullible people!
