<body> Harm Inflicted Upon the United States and Its People by the Corruption in Government--and Its Cover-Up The United States, and its people, have for years suffered great financial and personal harm, from the literal Trojan Horse corruption of its politicians, the people in control of some of the government offices such as the CIA and FBI, all of it made possible by shills in the media--some of them on secret payrolls of the CIA and other government offices. FAA professional aviation safety agents knew of the simple and inexpensive preventative measures to halt airline hijackings for 50 years, made reports on the importance of these measures being implemented, and often suffered retaliation for making such reports. Despite the obvious area of blame for failure to do this, Congress and the 9/11 Commission have carefully avoided this area, and the public has not shown the basic understanding of this fact. Development of routine practice by NTSB Board members falsifying major information, omitting major causative information, related to a long series of airline disasters, casting doubt upon any subsequent official report on the causes of major airline crashes--including terrorist-related airline disasters. Harm Inflicted by CIA Drug Smuggling Massive amount of information exists that people in the CIA have been smuggling drugs into the United States for the past 50 years, and many books have been written about this evidence. Incredibly, most of the public is unaware of these criminal and subversive activities. This news blackout of crimes against the American people has been made possible by the complicity of people in various checks and balances, including the various divisions of the Department of Justice, the 18 intelligence entities of government, and media people--many of whom have been on the payroll of the CIA and other government offices for years. Due to these them, great harm has been inflicted upon the American people and institutions, including the following: Tens of thousands, if not millions, of people have been sent to prison on drug-related offenses that probably would not have occurred without the CIA's heavy involvement in drug trafficking. Innocent people sentenced to long prison terms, even life sentences, sometimes using perjured testimony. Unprecedented number of drug-related murders throughout the United States, some of it related to drug smuggling by people working for the CIA and other government entities. Communities converted into battle zones from the effects of drugs, some smuggled into the United States by the CIA with aid of other government bodies. Creating a phony and costly "war on drugs" responsible for major human tragedies. The bizarre contradictions in the drug problems. Well-placed people in key government positions and the courts, involved in smuggling tons of drugs into the United States, or covering up for the subversive activities, while simultaneously legislating draconian prison sentences, seizing assets, and putting hundreds of thousands of men and women in prison on either sham drug charges or imprisonment far beyond that which is justified by the non-violent offense. Harm Arising From October Surprise Scheme The October Surprise operation consisted of secret meetings, funding, and arming of Iran to delay the release of 52 American hostages held in Iran. The intent of the operation was to increase the odds for President Jimmy Carter to lose the presidential election in 1980 between Carter and candidate Ronald Reagan. As in almost every "investigation" into government corruption, the investigation was controlled to cover up for the misconduct. The money and military equipment that was paid to delay the release of the American hostages held in Iran later played a role in the Iran-Contra affair. Delayed the release of the American hostages held in Iran. Corrupted the election process between President Carter and the Reagan-Bush team. (It is probable that Carter would have been defeated regardless of the early release of the hostages. Showed to world leaders U.S. politicians in an unfavorable light. Harm Arising from Corruption In the Federal Bankruptcy Courts There exists massive corruption involving federal judges, federal trustees, and lawyers, in the bankruptcy courts. This corruption results in, among other things: The looting and impoverishment of thousands of people who exercise the statutory protections of Chapter 11. Defrauds the United States of taxes that would otherwise have been paid by the people and companies whose assets are corruptly seized. Expands the culture of corruption in the federal courts and among judges, trustees, lawyers. Cooperation with CIA schemes that force companies and individuals into the bankruptcy courts that corruptly seizes the assets. Corruptly seizing the assets, including the homes, of thousands of people who naively exercise the statutory protections of Chapter 11, unaware of the widespread and unpublicized judicial and legal fraternity corruption in the bankruptcy courts. Cooperation with corrupt lawyers and law firms in corruptly seizing the assets of people exercising the statutory protections of Chapter 11. Harm from Corrupt Federal Judges and Justices Culture of corruption in the federal courts, involving judges and even Supreme Court Justices. Harm From 1980s Savings and Loan Corruption Savings and loan scandal, in which the CIA through its many covert proprietaries played a significant role in looting these financial institutions, for which Americans have yet to pay the price. These financial scams were simply one of many others perpetrated by covert CIA operations and personnel, which included bogus bearer bonds and many other forms of financial frauds. The harm inflicted includes, for instance: Increasing the national debt, which has yet to be paid, along with the interest charges. Expanding on the culture of corruption that spreads in and out of government. Many investors in savings and loans lost their savings, including their retirement funds. Harm From Corruption in FBI and Other DOJ Offices Misuse of the U.S. Department of Justice in corrupt activities that inflict great harm upon the American people and subverts one of the most important government office. Engaging in the practice of paying people to give perjured testimony against defendants targeted by DOJ prosecutors. Protecting the many corrupt operations of the CIA, including drug smuggling, looting of the savings and loans, and other financial frauds. Seizing assets of people who are never charged or found innocent, and not returning the assets. FBI agents involved in criminal activities, including providing the names of government informants to organized crime groups in the Boston and New York City areas, and the subsequent expected murder of such informants. Harm from Subverting Government of Nicaragua Nicaragua affair, in which the United States undermined the elected government in Nicaragua, which had taken over from the U.S. backed brutal regime, was a typical CIA covert operation and mind-control over the American people. Again, as in Vietnam, the bugaboo was that the government in Nicaragua was infiltrated by people who preferred the communist form of government rather than what exists in the United States today. Then, having pulled this mind-control scheme on the American people, the United States sent arms to both sides in the U.S.-generated war, and the planes carrying the arms from the United States then carried drugs back, escalating every element associated with the drug crisis--courtesy of the leaders in the United States. The secret arming of rebels seeking to overthrow the government of Nicaragua by the Reagan-Bush administrations resulted in such harms as the following: Murders of Nicaraguans defending their government and country. Generating great increase in drugs smuggled into the United States as aircraft flying guns to Central America return to the United States. Increasing the national debt, along with the interest on the debt--yet to be paid. Adds to the evidence among foreign countries of America's corrupt activities. Harm From Secret Funding and Arming of Iraq by White House Politicians During 1980s The Reagan-Bush politicians secretly funded and armed Iraq during the 1980s, right up to the invasion of Kuwait. They approved the brutal acts of Saddam Hussein throughout this period, and even facilitating the acts through the funds and arms. Among the ripple effects of these acts by White House politicians: The United States was engaged in the Gulf War to cause Iraq to abandon Kuwait. During this war the United States killed thousands of retreating Iraqi soldiers, who were then buried in mass graves. This was followed by ten years of severe sanctions upon Iraq that resulted in thousands of civilians dying. The ripple effects continue, resulting in the Second Bush administration engaging in series lying to obtain public support for the invasion of Iraq. Harm from Operation to Murder Defecting GIs Washington-ordered assassination of American GIs, as in Operation Tailwind, hunting for defecting American service personnel, as revealed by government insiders involved in the operations. Among the effects: Adding to the arrogant culture in the military and elsewhere. Resulting in the loss of employment by media personnel who aired a program on Operation Tailwind. Harm Arising from Media People Cover-Ups, Disinformation, And Shill Support for Corruption in Government For decades, and books have been written solely on that topic, media people have received payment from the CIA and other government entities to write articles, cover-up for corruption in government, and act as shills for government officials engaged in various forms of misconduct. Standard practice of bribes--either demanded or implied. Practice of playing in legislation projects rewarding political contributors (i.e. bribes), that cost the taxpayer huge amounts of money. Called "earmarks," the legislation providing for certain companies to get huge sums of money or contracts are inserted after the legislation is approved, and hardly anyone knows of it. Harm to Americans by Culture of Lying Then there is the harm inflicted upon Americans and the United States by the culture of lying, by key people in government, especially of White House and congressional politicians, that appears to be another American trait. For instance: Lying to justify the invasion of Korea shortly after World War II, which resulted in: 38,000 American GIs killed, and tens of thousands of GIs injured and maimed. Over 100,000 Koreans killed. U.S. maintaining a military presence in South Korea for the past 50 years. Setting the stage for the present crisis with Chicken-Little claims that North Korea is a threat to the United States. Lying to justify the invasion of Vietnam, which resulted in: 58,000 American GIs killed, and tens of thousands of GIs injured and maimed. Estimated 20,000 to 40,000 Vietnamese murdered in Operation Phoenix. Over 200,000 estimated Vietnamese killed while defending their country against the invading U.S. troops. Lying to cover up for the U.S. bombing of Laos and Cambodia during the invasion of Vietnam. Unknown number of innocent Laotians and Cambodians killed by U.S. bombing of their country. Lying to justify invasion of the little island of Grenada. Hundreds of Grenadans killed. Lying to justify invasion of Panama. Hundreds of Panamanians killed. Lying to justify arming rebels seeking to overthrow the Nicaraguan government. Hundreds killed, and provided the basis for massive flow of drugs into the United States by people carrying out the smuggling of arms to the rebels, involving CIA and White House personnel. Lying, or covering up, for the secret funding and arming of Iraq during the Reagan-Bush administrations. Contributed to the ability of Iraq to invade Kuwait, which in turn led to the 1990 war with Iraq and the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq. Lying, making a new record of serial and blatant lying, by White House officials and their shills, to invade Iraq. Resulted in several thousand dead American GIs. Tens of thousands of murdered Iraqi men, women, children, and infants. Supporting with money and arms the state of Israel, despite its invasion and occupation of a small defenseless country for the past 40 years, despite the many harms Israel has inflicted upon the American people, resulting in a escalating growth of terrorist activities. And the politicians who support Israel to avoid a backlash from the powerful Israel lobbies in the United States.
