<body> Harm Inflicted Upon the U.S. By Internal Corruption and Cover-Ups Various forms of national security issues have been tragically affected by the endemic corruption, endemic cover-ups, and pathetic unread and indifferent average America. The United States, and its people, have for years suffered great financial and personal harm, from the literal Trojan Horse corruption of its politicians, the people in control of some of the government offices such as the CIA and FBI, all of it made possible by shills in the media−some of them on secret payrolls of the CIA and other government offices. A series of terrorist attacks upon major U.S. targets whose success was enabled by the same group−plus others−that made possible the continuing series of fraud-related airline disasters. The latest in the long series of continuing airline disasters were the hijackings of 9/11, made possible by the misconduct in the government aviation safety offices. FAA professional aviation safety agents knew of the simple and inexpensive preventative measures to halt airline hijackings for 50 years, made reports on the importance of these measures being implemented, and often suffered retaliation for making such reports. Despite the obvious area of blame for failure to do this, Congress and the 9/11 Commission have carefully avoided this area, and the public has not shown the basic understanding of this fact. As this is written, the people have only seen the start of the financial and human miseries that will last for years, and very possibly be worst than what occurred during the financial depression of the 1930 in which this writer grew up. This great harm resulting in mall forms of human tragedies, including many suicides, required the complicity of many people and many groups, some of whom were the same ones responsible for the savings and loan corruption of the 1980s. Members of Congress, the recipients of bribes from people in the financial sectors, corruption in virtually every related check and balance, virtually none of which has yet to be recognized by the American public. Harm From Prior Financial Frauds Prior to the recent housing and financial frauds there were many others. Among the worst were the savings and loan scandals in the 1980s, with the same groups involved, and the same groups in Congress and elsewhere that made them possible. They all contributed to the enormous national debt, much of it based on money borrowed from Communist countries. Remember the years of political charges that they are the enemies so as to keep the military-industrial complex running at full speed? National Security Affected by CIA Involvement in Drug-Related Crimes Massive amount of information exists that people in the CIA have been smuggling drugs into the United States for the past 50 years, and many books have been written about this evidence. Incredibly, most of the public is unaware of these criminal and subversive activities. This news blackout of crimes against the American people has been made possible by the complicity of people in various checks and balances, including the various divisions of the Department of Justice, the 18 intelligence entities of government, and media people--many of whom have been on the payroll of the CIA and other government offices for years. Due to these them, great harm has been inflicted upon the American people and institutions, including the following: Tens of thousands, if not millions, of people have been sent to prison on drug-related offenses that probably would not have occurred without the CIA's heavy involvement in drug trafficking. Innocent people sentenced to long prison terms, even life sentences, sometimes using perjured testimony. Unprecedented number of drug-related murders throughout the United States, some of it related to drug smuggling by people working for the CIA and other government entities. Communities converted into battle zones from the effects of drugs, some smuggled into the United States by the CIA with aid of other government bodies. Creating a phony and costly "war on drugs" responsible for major human tragedies. The bizarre contradictions in the drug problems. Well-placed people in key government positions and the courts, involved in smuggling tons of drugs into the United States, or covering up for the subversive activities, while simultaneously legislating draconian prison sentences, seizing assets, and putting hundreds of thousands of men and women in prison on either sham drug charges or imprisonment far beyond that which is justified by the non-violent offense. FBI-DOJ Culture Affecting National Security Misuse of the U.S. Department of Justice in corrupt activities that inflict great harm upon the American people and subverts one of the most important government office. Among the indications, and the consequences, are the following: High-level FBI-DOJ officials blocking information on planned terrorist attacks on major U.S. targets, resulting in nearly 4,000 deaths, the cover-up based upon the need to protect key FBI personnel from involvement in a series of murders with organized crime figures. A Mafia soldier was acting as a mole in one of the most important al Qaeda cells, and providing information to local FBI agents in the New York offices with detailed information on the planned terrorist attacks. Covert Political Schemes That Were Precursor to Wars The Reagan-Bush politicians secretly funded and armed Iraq during the 1980s, right up to the invasion of Kuwait. They approved the brutal acts of Saddam Hussein throughout this period, and even facilitating the acts through the funds and arms. Among the ripple effects of these acts by White House politicians: The United States was engaged in the Gulf War to cause Iraq to abandon Kuwait. During this war the United States killed thousands of retreating Iraqi soldiers, who were then buried in mass graves. This was followed by ten years of severe sanctions upon Iraq that resulted in thousands of civilians dying. The ripple effects continue, resulting in the Second Bush administration engaging in series lying to obtain public support for the invasion of Iraq. The ripple effects then continued, including: Unprecedented growth of terrorists wanting to kill Americans, a growth that will continue for decades. Hundreds of billions of dollars in debt imposed on Americans, plus the interest, that will adversely affect the economy for decades. Worldwide loss of respect for America and Americans. Congressional Bribe Culture Affecting National Security The culture of bribes given to, and demanded either directly or subtlety, continues to result in great harm to the American people and to the nation. Included among the consequences of the culture of bribes are the following examples: Bribes that resulted in legislation to permit fraudulent conduct in the housing and financial field, and bribes to block legislation to halt such frauds. Among the repeated history of such conduct in the present housing and financial debacles that will make destitute many Americans and their families for years to come−or for the remainder of their lives. This practice was prominent in the savings and loan frauds of the 1980s and the housing and financial frauds that finally exploded in 2007. Bribes that prevent legislation to halt the abusive credit card practices. Covering up for years the corruption in the government's aviation safety offices that knowingly allowed the deaths to continue. These would include the deaths of 9/11. Legislating paramilitary invasions of private homes. Doors are broken down, residents are physically abused, pistols pushed into the faces of innocent women and children, residents are roughed-up. In some cases, the occupants are killed and the killers escape punishment. Legislating conspiracy statutes that are used to where almost anyone can be charged with a crime and imprisoned for years. Corruption throughout the members of Congress prevents them from addressing the corruption in other government offices, requiring that they cover-up and obstruct justice. Practice of rewarding political contributors (i.e. bribes), that cost the taxpayer huge amounts of money. Called "earmarks," the legislation providing for certain companies to get huge sums of money or contracts are inserted after the legislation is approved, and hardly anyone knows of it. Over 200,000 estimated Vietnamese killed while defending their country against the invading U.S. troops. Over 20,000 Vietnamese killed in the CIA's Operation Phoenix. Lying to cover up for the U.S. bombing of Laos and Cambodia during the invasion of Vietnam. Unknown number of innocent Laotians and Cambodians killed by U.S. bombing of their country. Lying to justify invasion of the little island of Grenada. Hundreds of Grenadians killed. Lying to justify invasion of Panama. Hundreds of Panamanians killed. Lying to justify arming rebels seeking to overthrow the Nicaraguan government. Hundreds killed, and provided the basis for massive flow of drugs into the United States by people carrying out the smuggling of arms to the rebels, involving CIA and White House personnel. Lying, or covering up, for the secret funding and arming of Iraq during the Reagan-Bush administrations. Contributed to the ability of Iraq to invade Kuwait, which in turn led to the 1990 war with Iraq and the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq. Serial lying to "justify" the invasion of Iraq. Estimated over one million Iraqis killed, maimed, and wounded. Over 4,0000 American GIs killed and tens of thousands of wounded and permanently crippled. Worldwide hatred for Americans and the world's greatest increase in the number of people wanting to kill Americans. Huge indebtedness of the United States taxpayers, much of it funded by communist countries. Remember when the word "communist" justified explosive increase in funding the military-industrial complex! Destabilizing the entire Middle East, resulting in an explosive mixture that at any point could start World War III, with nuclear missiles reaching the United States sent by countries encouraged by President Bush to engage to pre-emptive strikes. Massive drug smuggling involved in the Contra operations that was associated with the secret arming of the rebels seeking to overthrow the Nicaraguan government. The Republican White House-CIA involvement in drugs, through Panama, with a breakup in the relationship with Manuel Noriega that resulted in the U.S. invading Panama. The secret arming of religious rebels in Afghanistan that opposed the westernizing by the head of the country. That U.S. assistance in seeking to overthrow the Afghan government caused the government to ask the Soviet Union for troops to repel the U.S.-funded rebels. That in turn led to 30 years of bloody war, the installation of the fanatic religious Taliban, the harboring of al Qaeda, and assisted in bringing about the debacles in which the United States is now in a hopeless unwinnable position. Arms-for-hostages during the Reagan-Bush administrations, as arms were unlawfully and secretly shipped to Iran in exchange for the release of American hostages seized in Lebanon. These secret arms shipments were in addition to the secret arms shipments that were part of the October Surprise scheme. Under Democratic Politicians President Dwight Eisenhower ordering the deadly invasion of Korea on the premises that the people of that country did not have the right to choose a communist form of government. And authorized the 1953 revolution in Iran orchestrated by the CIA. President John F. Kennedy, who ordered the invasion of Cuba and attempts to kill foreign leaders, including Cuba's Fidel Castro. President L.B. Johnson, ordering the deadly invasion of Vietnam on the lie that a Navy ship was attacked by a North Vietnam ship.
