<body> History of Harm Resulting From Corruption in Government and Its Cover Up Harm in Aviation Disasters Resulting from Corrupt Culture From about 1950 to about 1985, airline crashes were a common occurrence, sometimes occurring seemingly every few months. The corruption in the government's aviation safety offices that created the conditions for those many airline disasters still exists today. But due to other factors, the deep-seated culture of misconduct only occasionally results in air disasters. Examples of this would be the Alaskan Airlines DC-9 that plunged into the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Southern California, the DC-10 scandal−and the hijackings of four airliners on 9/11. For instance, the hijacking of four airliners on September 11, 2001, that: Killed nearly 3,000 people. Developed into starting a war with Afghanistan, and with Iraq. The deaths of over 4,300 American GIs, and tens of thousands of wounded and permanently maimed military personnel, and enormous mental problems. The greatest growth of people in the world's history wanting to kill Americans. Were the ripple effects from such seemingly remote misconduct as: The years of deep-seated misconduct by certain people in the FAA. The people involved in the cover-ups of these deadly conditions, which included for instance: Cover-ups by the political National Transportation Safety Board. Cover-ups by members of Congress. The series of cover-ups by federal judges. The retaliation against a former federal aviation safety agent by federal judges and Department of Justice employees. The 23 years of continuous filing of sham legal actions against that former federal agent by a hoard of over 50 lawyers and law firms acting in parallel and unison with federal judges and Justice Department employees. As this is written, the people have only seen the start of the financial and human miseries that will last for years, and very possibly be worst than what occurred during the financial depression of the 1930 in which this writer grew up. This great harm resulting in mall forms of human tragedies, including many suicides, required the complicity of many people and many groups, some of whom were the same ones responsible for the savings and loan corruption of the 1980s. Among the people responsible for these housing-financial tragedies are: The the real estate sales people, the appraisers, the mortgage brokers, and the initial lenders. Wall Street financial personnel who promoted the frauds and then securitized the junk assets, selling the known junk securities to investors, which included pension funds. Members of Congress, who, under the influence of bribes, removed legislation that enabled the frauds to occur, or enacted legislation to enable the frauds to start and flourish. Media people, especially the thousands of media people focusing on the financial sectors. The housing and financial sectors that finally collapsed in 2007, were simply one in a long line of prior frauds, such as the savings and loan frauds of the 1980s. Harm From Prior Financial Frauds Prior to the recent housing and financial frauds there were many others. Among the worstdirectly harmed people in the United States, as well as national security. A few of these matters are briefly mentioned here, and the cost of many of these frauds has yet to be paid by the younger generation: were the savings and loan scandals in the 1980s, with the same groups involved, and the same groups in Congress and elsewhere that made them possible. They all contributed to the enormous national debt, much of it based on money borrowed from Communist countries. The harm resulting from the latest housing and financial frauds will continue for years, and seen in such matters as: Tens of thousands of homes lost through foreclosures, accompanied by endless series of personal and financial trauma. Especially traumatic for people living in a cold climate, in winter, having to move their family into an automobile to survive. Families penniless, without funds for food, medication, some living in tents or in cars. Families unable to afford medical care. Families breaking up. Years of joblessness for millions, without funds, and living a life of misery. Retirement income wiped out, especially traumatic for elderly people who have no means to earn money. Tens of thousands, if not millions, of people have been sent to prison on drug-related offenses that probably would not have occurred without the CIA's heavy involvement in drug trafficking. Unprecedented number of drug-related murders throughout the United States, some of it related to drug smuggling by people working for the CIA and other government entities. Communities converted into battle zones from the effects of drugs, some smuggled into the United States by the CIA with aid of other government bodies. Creating a phony and costly "war on drugs" responsible for major human tragedies. Turning American cities into war zones. Turning Mexico into a virtually war zone as brutal drug smugglers strive to meet the demands of U.S. drug users. Minor drug users sentenced to years, sometimes life, in prison. Corrupt war on drugs profit many others, including builders and maintainers of prisons, prison employees, lawyers. A growth industry built on the broken lives of Americans. Creates bizarre contradictions. Several recent presidents of the United States, including Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, admitted using drugs. Corruption in the Bankruptcy Courts The little-known corruption in the nation's bankruptcy courts financially benefits many people while the victims are converted into poverty, some of whom are aged people unable to earn a living, and forced to live in abstract poverty. People involved in these corrupt activities include federal judges, Justice Department trustees, lawyers and law firms, and occasionally CIA assets. Misuse of the bankruptcy courts by the CIA as they force targeted companies or individuals into bankruptcy and then unlawfully seize and liquidate the victim's assts. The seizure and liquidation of people's assets who naively exercise the statutory protection of Chapter 11 to have time to pay debts that came due during a momentary shortage of funds. Harm from Corrupt federal judges Pattern of documented cover-ups of ongoing criminal activities that in addition to felony obstruction of justice, enabled to continue great harm resulting from the corruption−and the cover-ups. Estimated 20,000 to 40,000 Vietnamese murdered in Operation Phoenix. Over 200,000 estimated Vietnamese killed while defending their country against the invading U.S. troops. Over 20,000 Vietnamese killed in the CIA's Operation Phoenix. Laos and Cambodia Lying to cover up for the U.S. bombing of Laos and Cambodia during the invasion of Vietnam. Unknown number of innocent Laotians and Cambodians killed by U.S. bombing of their country. Grenada Lying to justify invasion of the little island of Grenada. Hundreds of Grenadians killed. Panama Lying to justify invasion of Panama. Hundreds of Panamanians killed. IRAQ Serial lying to "justify" the invasion of Iraq. Estimated over one million Iraqis killed, maimed, and wounded. Over 4,0000 American GIs killed and tens of thousands of wounded and permanently crippled. Worldwide hatred for Americans and the world's greatest increase in the number of people wanting to kill Americans. Huge indebtedness of the United States taxpayers, much of it funded by communist countries. Remember when the word "communist" justified explosive increase in funding the military-industrial complex! Destabilizing the entire Middle East, resulting in an explosive mixture that at any point could start World War III, with nuclear missiles reaching the United States sent by countries encouraged by President Bush to engage to pre-emptive strikes. Making this worse, the Reagan-Bush administrations were secretly funding and arming Iraq until just prior to Iraq's invasion of Kuwait. Endemic Corruption Will Continue Unless Public Culture Changes The people that have control of key segments of America have been using the American public as a feeding trough. The culture in and out of government is so corrupt, and incapable of changing its profitable ways, and the cover-up of such corrupt so complete, that only changes in the public's culture can bring this about. With the great decline in America's values, this change must come from the few Americans that still have the desired to protect America's former values. These are suggestions for the changes that are required: Start reading a series of books on these matters and understand what is revealed. Become vocal about your outrage. The internet now provides people the ability to circumvent the cover-ups by media people and others. Use these avenues for publicizing the information. You May be the Next Victim You, or any member of your family, could very well be the next victim. A poem written about the German people is appropriate for what has been done to the American people: First they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out, because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak out for me. Pastor Martin Niemöller Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) first supported the rise of Adolf Hitler, and then upon learning the truth, and objecting, he was imprisoned. He wrote a poem about the state of denial of Germans about what Hitler was doing. Probably no better example could be shown than what has been done to the American people, in their name, while they lazily ignored the outrages. Great Airline Disasters With Links to Corrupt Culture Most of the above catastrophic events occurred on the program for which FAA air carrier operations inspector Rodney Stich had been given the assignment to correct the conditions responsible for the worst series of airline disasters in the nation's history.
