Life and death assignment. During the early periods of aviation, when airline disasters were a common event, in 1963, highly experienced federal airline safety inspector Rodney Stich was given the specific assignment by mid-level FAA management in the Los Angeles offices to halt the corruption in the aviation safety activities at United Airlines—and the corruption within the local FAA offices—that enabled a continuing series of airline disasters to occur. Criminally Blocked from Performing
While the Misconduct and Deaths Continued!
His prior experience as a Naval Aviator and Navy Patrol Plane Commander, and international airline captain at several airlines did not prepare him for the massive arrogance and corruption that he discovered at United Airlines and within the Federal Aviation Agency (later reorganized as Federal Aviation Administration), which played a continuing role in continuing airline crashes and deaths.
Immediate retaliation—with deadly consequences. Upon reporting and attempting to halt the corrupt practices responsible for enabling the direct causes of the continuation aviation crashes to occur, immediate retaliation came from United Airlines and within the FAA local management, and eventually, high-level FAA management at the regional level, followed by retaliation from high-level FAA management in Washington, including the FAA administrator himself.
Unprecedented actions taken to halt the corruption, the cover-ups, and the resulting crashes and deaths. Acting similar to an independent prosecutor—to halt the deadly corruption responsible for continuing series of aviation disasters (that would continue for decades thereafter). The court-like proceedings in 1965 extended over several months—during which three other airline disasters occurred, each one due to the same safety problems and retaliation that Stich had repeatedly reported in writing. The evidence shown by the 4,000 pages of court testimony and exhibits showed that the death-resulting corruption that Stich was given the assignment to correct extended far into the upper reaches of the Federal Aviation Administration. (At that time, called the Federal Aviation Agency.)
Three more crashes occurred during the proceedings. Three deadly aviation crashes occurred during the proceedings. Each of the crashes were caused by the exact safety problems and safety and criminal violations that Stich had repeatedly reported in writing—and for which he suffered retaliation. To this day, the families of the victims never knew of the corruption responsible for the deaths of their loved ones.

Filing of legal briefs. Upon the end of the proceedings, Stich filed a closing brief that highlighted the many safety violations related to several recent crashes. In that closing brief, he warned that a cover-up would continue the misconduct, the culture, the crashes, and the deaths.
More Details of the Life-and-Death Fighting Efforts
After the cover-up following the FAA hearings during which Stich acted as an independent prosecutor, the head of the FAA’s Sky Marshal’s program was outraged, and encouraged Stich to send a report to the FAA administrator, and he would co-sign the report. This was done on August 8, 1966.

The criminal activities by FAA management during the hearings caused Stich to appear before a Denver federal grand jury. Reports to various divisions of the U.S. Department of Justice were repeatedly blocked. In 1966, circumventing the blocks by Department of Justice personnel, he appeared before the federal grand jury in Denver—controlled by the same U.S. Attorney that blocked earlier reports.
Stich refused to be involved in such corrupt activities resulting in hundreds of deaths and resigned from the FAA. The continuing airline disasters motivated him to continue the fight as a private citizen, which would result in suffering severe personal and financial harm.
The groups protecting the prior deadly corruption, and playing an enabling role in subsequence corruption and tragedies, by cover-ups, included the following sampling:

Federal Aviation Agency was abolished, and replaced by Federal Aviation Administration, under the newly formed Department of Transportation. (The same personnel and the same culture went into the replacements.)
The above were just the start of documenting corruption beyond the comprehension of virtually anyone, and would continually worsen, with today's multiple national and international crises made possible by the culture described herein and in the related links. There were every worse consequences to the above corrupt and criminal acts.

DOJ corruption related to the Pan Am Flight 103 Lockerbie bombing. FBI-DOJ personnel planted evidence to shift blame for bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie from guilty parties, in Iran and Syria, to two innocent Libyans and Libya, with further consequences. The 1993 World Trade Center bombing, due to a combination of FBI personnel incompetence and retaliation against a female FBI agent who, with her source in the al Qaeda group, provided advance information of the planned bombing, the name of some of the people constructing the bomb, and the Jersey City self-storage location where the bomb was being fabricated. FBI-DOJ personnel involved in years of murders of U.S. citizens, with organized crime and Mafia figures. Examples: In Boston offices, with the James "Whitey" Bulger mob, and in New York City offices, with the Mafia capo known as "the killing machine." Over 40 murders committed over several decades while the murders were paid by FBI-DOJ and given immunity. The Pathetic Response of the American Public
All during the continuing corruption and worsening catastrophic consequences, Rodney Stich appeared on hundreds of radio and TV shows as guest and expert, providing details—with no public reaction others than a small percentage of the listening public sending him their appreciation. Today, with the public obsessed with electronic toys and other trivia, even this small reaction is absent. List the American public as enablers of their own victimization! They don't even respond to the murderous worldwide crimes of their leaders! Or, even on their own people!

Stich filed complaints and provided information on the corruption and the resulting tragedies with members of Congress, starting in 1965, and continued through to 2013. The only reaction to his numerous complaints in 1965 were Congress terminated the Federal Aviation Agency in 1967, replacing it with the Federal Aviation Administration, under the supervision of the newly created Department of Transportation—using the same personnel; and terminated the Civil Aeronautics Board in 1967 and replacing it with the National Transportation Safety Board (using the same personnel and same culture in both of these changes).

Government Personnel's Tactics to
During the above corruption-exposing and corruption-fighting activities, Stich became the target of schemes to halt his corruption-exposing and corruption-fighting activities. These schemes continued from 1982 to 1995, and required massive and continuing violations of dozens of state and federal civil statutes, major and basic constitutional protections, and criminal violations.
Perpetrating these massive safeguards, massive evidence prove that:
Enabling and protecting the perpetrators were a hoard of lawyers and law firms, starting with the CIA-FBI-front San Francisco law firm of Friedman, Sloan and Ross; personnel of the U.S. Department of Justice—the controlling group in the scheme and protecting the perpetrators;
Federal judges, who then came to protect the scheme and schemers when the massive violations of federally-protected rights were brought to them via federal court filings. The repeated and blatant violations of large numbers of state and federal law, and the most basic constitutional protections—and access to remedies in state and federal courts, required that all lawful and constitutional protections be denied to him—forever.

Through information provided to Stich by dozens of other insiders, primarily professionals in the covert operations of the U.S. government, other areas of corruption were discovered and included in the corruption-exposing activities. The following are examples:
Secret overthrow of democratically-elected government in Iran. This occurred in 1953, and would eventually be followed by an Islamic government. At that time, Stich was an airline captain flying Muslim pilgrims from throughout the Middle East to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina, and was in Abadan, Iran, the morning the revolution started. That event would be followed by the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the 52 American hostages held for 444 days, the subject of the movie, Argo, and eventually, October Surprise.
October Surprise, the follow-up to the CIA overthrow of the democratically-elected government in Iran (while Stich was an airline captain in Iran the morning of the revolution); the 1979 Islamic revolution which was the basis for the movie, Argo; and was a scheme to be sure that President Jimmy Carter not be reelected President of the United States. Stich's primary CIA source for this information was involved and present at several of the key meetings, including George H.W. Bush (Sr.)
U.S. subverting westernizing Afghan government, followed by 30 years of continuing wars. In the 1970s, the CIA was secretly funding and arming Islamic rebels fighting the westernizing efforts of the Afghan leadership. These U.S-funded rebels caused the Afghan government to request military assistance from the Soviet Union, which did occur. The United States then greatly increased the arming of the rebels, which plunged Afghanistan into constant wars, that today is one of the endless series of self-inflicted threats and sources of harm to the United States. The original reason for seeking to undermine the Afghan government was the economic relationship between Afghanistan and the Soviet Union. Anything related to the Communist form of government became the argument for invading such countries as Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Grenada, Nicaragua, and then other sham excuses were used to invade Afghanistan and Iraq.
Massive CIA involvement in drug smuggling with military logistic support—surely known by Department of Justice personnel and the 16 U.S. intelligence agencies. (And direct involvement by FBI, such as the many reports of Miami FBI agent Terry Nelson).
Covert CIA operations in the United States. For instance:

Under Authority of Federal Crime Reporting Statute—
And Suffering the Consequences!
Stich filed legal papers in federal court to report the federal crimes that he and his increasing number of other insiders had discovered. The authority—and requirement for this—were the federal crime reporting requirements, especially federal criminal statute, Title 18 U.S.C. § 4. Federal judges have a mandatory duty to receive information on federal crimes from anyone. Refusal to receive such information would be a criminal act, obstruction of justice, made worse by the fatal consequences of the federal crimes Stich was reporting. These filings uncovered still more corruption—among federal judges. The initial filings in the federal courts, encountering blocks by federal judges, included:
First action. Stich filed a federal lawsuit against the
Administration. Department of Justice personnel filed motions to bar
the court from hearing the evidence: i.e., obstruction of Justice!
Federal lawsuit against the NTSB, for covering up material evidence related to the crash of a PSA airline into the city of San Diego, the nation's worst aviation disaster at that time—taking the record from United Airlines DC-8 crash into New York City. Both of these great airline disasters were enabled to occur by information withheld from the official government report prepared by the Civil Aeronautics Board and its replacement in 1967 by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
Federal lawsuit filed in Reno during series of al Qaeda attacks, reporting the corruption making the attacks possible.
Federal lawsuit filed in New York City immediately after the 9/11 airliner hijackings, reporting much of the corruption that made the attacks successful. Federal judges Michael Mukasey (and later U.S. Attorney General) blocked the filing, aiding and abetting the corrupt activities responsible for the worst series of terrorist attacks in the nation's history, further followed by the judges in the Court of Appeals in New York.

Documented Complicity of Justices of U.S. Supreme Court
Among the many people and groups that were informed over a period of 40 years of the crimes against the United States by key people in government, and the continuing consequences of such crimes, were the Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court. They were repeatedly notified by corruption-fighting whistleblower, Rodney Stich, by legal filings and letters directly to the Justices. They had the additional responsibility under the crime reporting statute to receive the information, in addition to acting on it. During that entire period, only one Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court showed any reaction. That was the unprecedented personal letter, and unprecedented apology, by Justice Byron White, upon receiving a 1991 emergency petition from Stich.

Stich appealed to the public with the first of his not-for-profit books and hundreds of radio and TV appearances, starting in 1978. The first book was Unfriendly Skies, and had four revisions, after which it was titled, History of Aviation Disasters: 1950 to 9/11. The publicity sounding these activities motivated dozens of other former government personnel and insiders to provide Stich with insider information on many other areas of corruption in covert and overt operations, along with corruption that Stich discovered from fighting the corruption and perpetrators. These people had key positions in such government departments as the CIA, DEA, FBI, Customs, FAA, former drug smugglers, and former Mafia figures.

Pastor Martin Niemöller
Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) first supported the rise of Adolf Hitler, and then upon learning the truth, and objecting, he was imprisoned. He wrote a poem about the state of denial of Germans about what Hitler was doing. Probably no better example could be shown than what has been done to the American people, in their name, while they ignored the outrages.
The first step is to become informed. And with the vast cover-ups, disinformation, and blatant lying by U.S. politicians, media personnel, and political pundits, this requires a little effort. In searching for information, don't be misled by wild conspiracy theories, and go where facts can be found, including courageous (and foolish) insiders who speak out in defense of the country.
Sadly, fewer people read such books (preferring trivia reading), rarely read newspapers (which is one small step to becoming informed). Therefore, the future is bleak, made possible by the corruption detailed here and in the books, the cover-ups, and the indifference to their responsibilities by the trivia-obsessed American public.
