40 Years of Fighting Hardcore-Corruption-Enabling Tragedies—

Life and death assignment. During the early periods of aviation, when airline disasters were a common event, in 1963, highly experienced federal airline safety inspector Rodney Stich was given the specific assignment by mid-level FAA management in the Los Angeles offices to halt the corruption in the aviation safety activities at United Airlines—and the corruption within the local FAA offices—that enabled a continuing series of airline disasters to occur. Criminally Blocked from Performing Life-and-Death Assignment
While the Misconduct and Deaths Continued!

His prior experience as a Naval Aviator and Navy Patrol Plane Commander, and international airline captain at several airlines did not prepare him for the massive arrogance and corruption that he discovered at United Airlines and within the Federal Aviation Agency (later reorganized as Federal Aviation Administration), which played a continuing role in continuing airline crashes and deaths.

More Details of the Life-and-Death Fighting Efforts

After the cover-up following the FAA hearings during which Stich acted as an independent prosecutor, the head of the FAA’s Sky Marshal’s program was outraged, and encouraged Stich to send a report to the FAA administrator, and he would co-sign the report. This was done on August 8, 1966.

The criminal activities by FAA management during the hearings caused Stich to appear before a Denver federal grand jury. Reports to various divisions of the U.S. Department of Justice were repeatedly blocked. In 1966, circumventing the blocks by Department of Justice personnel, he appeared before the federal grand jury in Denver—controlled by the same U.S. Attorney that blocked earlier reports.

Stich refused to be involved in such corrupt activities resulting in hundreds of deaths and resigned from the FAA. The continuing airline disasters motivated him to continue the fight as a private citizen, which would result in suffering severe personal and financial harm.

The groups protecting the prior deadly corruption, and playing an enabling role in subsequence corruption and tragedies, by cover-ups, included the following sampling:

Federal Aviation Agency was abolished, and replaced by Federal Aviation Administration, under the newly formed Department of Transportation. (The same personnel and the same culture went into the replacements.)

The above were just the start of documenting corruption beyond the comprehension of virtually anyone, and would continually worsen, with today's multiple national and international crises made possible by the culture described herein and in the related links. There were every worse consequences to the above corrupt and criminal acts.

The Pathetic Response of the American Public

All during the continuing corruption and worsening  catastrophic consequences, Rodney Stich appeared on hundreds of radio and TV shows as guest and expert, providing details—with no public reaction others than a small percentage of the listening public sending him their appreciation. Today, with the public obsessed with electronic toys and other trivia, even this small reaction is absent. List the American public as enablers of their own victimization! They don't even respond to the murderous worldwide crimes of their leaders! Or, even  on their own people!

Decades of Congressional Blocks (i.e., Obstruction of Justice.)

Stich filed complaints and provided information on the corruption and the resulting tragedies with members of Congress, starting in 1965, and continued through to 2013. The only reaction to his numerous complaints in 1965 were Congress terminated the Federal Aviation Agency in 1967, replacing it with the Federal Aviation Administration, under the supervision of the newly created Department of Transportation—using the same personnel; and terminated the Civil Aeronautics Board in 1967 and replacing it with the National Transportation Safety Board (using the same personnel and same culture in both of these changes).

Government Personnel's Tactics to Halt The
Corruption-Fighting Whistleblower

During the above corruption-exposing and corruption-fighting activities, Stich became the target of schemes to halt his corruption-exposing and corruption-fighting activities. These schemes continued from 1982 to 1995, and required massive and continuing violations of dozens of state and federal civil statutes, major and basic constitutional protections, and criminal violations.

Stich filed legal papers in federal court to report the federal crimes that he and his increasing number of other insiders had discovered. The authorityand requirement for this—were the federal crime reporting requirements, especially federal criminal statute, Title 18 U.S.C. § 4. Federal judges have a mandatory duty to receive information on federal crimes from anyone. Refusal to receive such information would be a criminal act, obstruction of justice, made worse by the fatal consequences of the federal crimes Stich was reporting. These filings uncovered still more corruptionamong federal judges. The initial filings in the federal courts, encountering blocks by federal judges, included:

Documented Complicity of Justices of U.S. Supreme Court

Among the many people and groups that were informed over a period of 40 years of the crimes against the United States by key people in government, and the continuing consequences of such crimes, were the Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court. They were repeatedly notified by corruption-fighting whistleblower, Rodney Stich, by legal filings and letters directly to the Justices. They had the additional responsibility under the crime reporting statute to receive the information, in addition to acting on it. During that entire period, only one Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court showed any reaction. That was the unprecedented personal letter, and unprecedented apology, by Justice Byron White, upon receiving a 1991 emergency petition from Stich.

Informing the Public Via Not-for-Profit Books and
Hundreds of Radio and TV Appearances

Stich appealed to the public with the first of his not-for-profit books and hundreds of radio and TV appearances, starting in 1978. The first book was Unfriendly Skies, and had four revisions, after which it was titled, History of Aviation Disasters: 1950 to 9/11. The publicity sounding these activities motivated dozens of other former government personnel and insiders to provide Stich with insider information on many other areas of corruption in covert and overt operations, along with corruption that Stich discovered from fighting the corruption and perpetrators. These people had key positions in such government departments as the CIA, DEA, FBI, Customs, FAA, former drug smugglers, and former Mafia figures.

Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) first supported the rise of Adolf Hitler, and then upon learning the truth, and objecting, he was imprisoned. He wrote a poem about the state of denial of Germans about what Hitler was doing. Probably no better example could be shown than what has been done to the American people, in their name, while they ignored the outrages.


The first step is to become informed. And with the vast cover-ups, disinformation, and blatant lying by U.S. politicians, media personnel, and political pundits, this requires a little effort. In searching for information, don't be misled by wild conspiracy theories, and go where facts can be found, including courageous (and foolish) insiders who speak out in defense of the country.


Sadly, fewer people read such books (preferring trivia reading), rarely read newspapers (which is one small step to becoming informed).
