Every one of the other Democrat and Republican candidates have pluses and minuses. Therefore, it may be necessary to vote for the candidate that has the least number of negatives. A few considerations:
Anyone who voted to start the war against the Iraqi people knew that many Iraqis would be killed, horribly mutilated, maimed, and the nation destabilized.
The rhetoric that one hears from the candidates is usually the speech prepared by professional writers,
Simply saying they will correct this or correct that, without any intelligent explanation, when the facts show that the answer is very difficult and complex. Some promises could be called similar to proclaiming that the government will give everyone a million dollars.
Simply looking at which candidate has the best line, older people can more easily recognize a suede-shoe salesman, or con artist. However, many voters did not recognize this when they voted for George W. Bush the first,, and were obviously brain-dead or who-cares about the catastrophic consequences Bush brought upon much of the world, and which the American public still have yet to face (except the families of the dead and the maimed GIs.
